Kafma v1.0.1

Kafma v1.0.1 is a small maintenance release that makes everyday workflows more predictable.

  • Cross-cluster Data Clone is now more reliable: it avoids conflicting topic settings, adapts replication factors when the destination cluster has fewer brokers, and honors the environment you set on each cluster instead of guessing from its name.
  • When an update is ready, the About panel now provides a direct Restart to update action. Update progress is easier to follow, and installation errors include clearer guidance.
  • License activation errors now distinguish expired or disabled keys from device-limit and configuration problems, so Kafma shows the right guidance.
  • When you edit a Production cluster, Kafma now correctly shows the Read-Only setting you previously saved.
  • Help and About now link directly to Kafma's documentation and release notes.
  • The High Throughput topic preset now clearly shows the partitions, retention period, and per-partition storage limit it will use.
  • Deleting a cluster no longer waits for the connection to close—the card shows a spinner and disappears right away.
